Smokey Eye - Initial Thoughts

UD smokey eyes are nearly always bright, bold and metallic. They always have a sort of "burst" shape and cover the majority of the eye, rather than the typical lighter to darker smokey eye. They don't always incorporate lashes and sometimes the incorporate patters. They range from smoked out and fading, to more constricting and shaped (see bottom picture)

 

I plan to use the metallic element because that is VERY UD. My initial thoughts are to use bronze tones and down that rout rather than something very bright because I think that will work better in a head shot and profile to, to concentrate on the smokey element rather than colours or patterns that are sometimes hard to translate to camera unless the shot is close up like the top pictures. (UD do this a lot but our brief is to create a full head shot so that is something ill have to adapt.)
